The Monthly WI Meetings
The WI is an easy way to enjoy meeting other women, learning new skills and making many friends. Our meetings are held on the second Thursday in the month in Burton Joyce Village Hall at 7.00 pm. The main part of the evening is a talk or demonstration and some WI business about what is happening and what we are planning. Tea or coffee and biscuits are served at the end of the meeting by members on a rota basis, then we usually finish around 9.30 pm.
Subscription for the full year 2025 are £51.00 but you can join mid year on a pro-rota basis. The subs divided between our WI, the County Federation and the National Federation. You don't need to pay the subs on your first visit - try us out before you buy.
As well as the monthly meeting we have a number of other groups; 2 Walking Groups; a Craft Group; Rummikub night and weekly Walking Netball. You will find details of our monthly meetings and our other groups as sub-headings of this page.
