Linda joined our WI in 1999, came onto the Committee in 2004 and was elected our President in 2017 and 2018. She was a warm and generous lady who always had a smile for everyone.

The middle photo is of the Three Wise Men, but one of them looks very much like a woman!
The first photo above is a recycled window made up of shards of stained glass windows destroyed by Oliver Cromwell's army during the Civil War. The middle picture is of the Green Man who has a grapevine growing from his mouth.

We started at Papplewick where we saw the lovely cottage with the beautiful garden, and walked over to Newstead Abbey and went round the Japanese and Rock Gardens.

53rd Birthday Party - 11th January
The first photos show the fantastic pieces made by our members, including Jo's clock in a tin and new member Hazel's published book about her father's experiences during WW2. Then we have photos of everyone playing games before we had a fantastic faith supper.
